Introducing the New Features of WrapFest

WrapFest 2024, the UK’s premier exhibition for the car and surface detailing community, has revealed information of its feature highlights, which include both new and returning favorites to the schedule this October, following the tremendous success of its first event.

In light of the innovation and expansion of the sector, surface decorating will receive special attention, and a thorough instructional program will enable companies to take advantage of the increasing demand for vinyl wrapping.

fresh and enhanced

The two-day event (3–4 October 2024) at Silverstone Racing Circuit in Northamptonshire will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the vinyl wrapping industry through a comprehensive program of educational talks, demonstrations, and networking opportunities.

A brand-new area for surface decorating will be unveiled by WrapFest in response to the industry’s expanding demand. A wide range of items for interior spaces, such as furniture wraps, window films, wall coverings, and window tinting solutions, will be on show at the Surface Decoration Showcase. Attendees will be able to obtain hands-on experience with the newest materials as independent trainers will be available to show these solutions.

The well-liked WrapTalks program will provide a varied schedule of workshops to provide participants the skills and know-how required to succeed in the cutthroat wrapping market of today. Leader of the industry Paige Walton, CEO and Founder of The Vehicle Wrapping Academy, will host a compelling panel discussion titled “Women in Wrap,” which will examine the distinctive experiences of women in the field. Later, famous designer Sean Bull, Alpine’s F1 Graphic Designer, will impart his knowledge of how technology, design, and aesthetics interact in Formula 1.

It has also been revealed that “Designing Effective Fleet Liveries” would be hosted by Keiran McCabe, owner of RGVA Vehicle Graphics. Attendees will learn how to use cutting-edge methods and industry best practices to create and deploy visually striking fleet liveries that enhance brand awareness. McCabe will also discuss how to make cars into mobile marketing tools by achieving uniformity across fleets. Participants in WrapFest will have the opportunity to hear an exclusive interview with Chris Edwards, Director of CVI Group, on the uses of vinyl that go beyond automobiles. Edwards will discuss how architectural wraps may revitalize buildings, create immersive environments, and explore practical applications that expand design possibilities in his session, “Architectural Wrap and its Role in the Industry.”

WrapFest offers business people exclusive chances to hear from top industry leaders and acquire insightful information. This year’s new addition to WrapFest is a unique opportunity for attendees to receive one-on-one guidance from famous vehicle wrapping Yiannimize. On day one, there will be a bookable “business surgery” for individuals wishing to advance their services. Those who don’t have a reserved time slot are welcome to attend in order to observe and gain knowledge.

favorites coming back

Live demonstrations in Silverstone’s renowned pit garages will take place at WrapFest 2024 once more. Sponsors of the event will have exclusive spaces with installations and educational opportunities from top specialists in the field. Attendees will get the opportunity to observe firsthand the newest wrapping methods, materials, and products designed to meet the increasing demand from consumers for unique and striking wraps. In the upcoming weeks, the schedule for the pit demo will be revealed.

WrapFest will also see the return of the highly anticipated World Wrap Masters competition’s UK leg. Over the course of two days, up to 20 elite wrappers will compete under pressure in a variety of skill-testing and innovative rounds. The victor will go on to compete at the World Wrap Masters Final in May 2025. The judges will assign specific tasks utilizing printed materials, color shift, and new PPF materials for 2024 to this year’s entrants. Ole Solskin, Ivan Tenchev, and Kiss Lajos, the returning judges, will make sure that the show is not to be missed.

In order to give the vinyl and surface detailing community a fully immersive experience, WrapFest 2024 also provides an abundance of other features. Visitors may showcase their own work to other participants at Show N Shine, where they can win daily prizes from the People’s Choice and Judges Choice Awards while receiving feedback on their design, materials, and finish. In other news, the Wrap Institute, a WrapFest Learnings Partner, will once more entice guests to put their wrapping prowess to the test in an entertaining lineup of contests at Wrap Warrior Battle, which will feature the 3M challenge “Wrap The Dots.” Due to high demand, Silverstone Simulators will allow guests to compete head-to-head once more. Daily leaders who complete the quickest lap times will win prizes.

In an effort to unite the vinyl, surface decoration, and detailing industries, the local Blackpit Brewery will hold the Wrap Party on Thursday, October 3, starting at 6 p.m. For those working in the vehicle wrapping and surface decorating industries, WrapFest 2024 is the must-visit event.
