The Nonwovens Business Line features cutting-edge, environmentally friendly filtering products.
11 November 2024, Cologne From November 12 to 14, RadiciGroup will be present at Filtech 2024, the premier international trade show for the filtration sector, in Cologne (Hall 7 – Stand P9).
With more than 80 years of experience in engineering polymers, chemicals, and textile solutions, RadiciGroup is showcasing its Nonwovens Business Line’s high-tech, environmentally friendly goods. The Group’s nonwoven products now come in three primary material and brand categories: Radimelt® meltblown and composite nonwovens, Respunsible® spunbond nonwovens made from recycled polypropylene, and Dylar® spunbond nonwovens. To meet the demands of each consumer, they come in a wide variety of hues and combinations.
Materials from RadiciGroup are made to satisfy the strictest specifications for both environmental sustainability and technological excellence. As a consequence of the appropriate balance between filtration efficiency, manageability, and low airflow resistance, RadiciGroup spunbond and meltblown are in fact perfect for parts used in cars and air filtration.
RadiciGroup’s low environmental impact product line is a direct result of its strong commitment to sustainability as a strategic objective. Respunsible®, a spunbond line made from recycled materials, is certified by SCS Global Services. The environmental effect of each product is calculated over its whole life cycle using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology. Furthermore, circular and bio-circular materials that have earned ISCC Plus (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) certification demonstrate the Group’s commitment to sustainability.
“Filtech provides a significant opportunity to showcase our product line to a niche global audience. We are able to satisfy a market that is becoming more and more demanding by fusing our technological expertise with a keen focus on sustainability. Our in-house R&D department, which is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, allows us to manufacture customised goods as well,” said Stefano Frione, head of business for the RadiciGroup Nonwovens Business Line.
