The Clean India Show comes to an end with encouraging

Mumbai, December 26, 2024: With high-quality attendees over the course of the three days, the 20th Clean India Show and its sister expos, Waste Technology India Expo, Laundrex India Expo, and Autocare Expo, just came to a successful conclusion. 10,069 people attended the exhibition, which was held in the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, the financial centre of India. The show garnered support from 170 exhibitors coupled with nearly 600+ brands, who showcased their latest solutions developed for enhanced cleaning, waste management, laundry and the autocare industry. The event also attracted delegates from 60+ segments, including dignitaries from the government departments as well as private organisations.

With the importance of waste management and professional cleaning becoming more and more standardised across various public and private facilities, as well as the fact that hygiene standards are becoming non negotiable, the Clean India Show and its concurrent shows offered creative solutions with a renewed emphasis on sustainability, showcasing a number of cutting-edge industry products and solutions.

The expo’s honourable chief guest, Shri Mr. Sanjay Katkar, Municipal Commissioner of the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation, stated that regular industry-government connections are necessary to enable the government to communicate its issues, which industry then uses innovation to address. He also held that shows like Clean India Show are the need of the hour to take ahead vision of Clean and Green India.

In order to restore hygiene and promote the Swachh Bharat Mission, smart cities are expanding their mobility infrastructure and pushing urban-local bodies (ULBs) to adopt smart waste management systems. The event buzzed about a move towards eco-friendly items. One of the exhibitors, Mr Ajith Sharma, National Sales Head, Multiline Hygiene Care expressed, “We are happy that Clean India Show, this year, has a renewed focus on sustainability in its conferences and even in terms of the products displayed. In a similar vein, we have introduced Bamboo Tissue, which is composed of bamboo pulp and is completely biodegradable. With this show, we are promoting our products in the industries like IT, healthcare and HoReCa segments.”

“We have been associated with Clean India Show for the last six years,” said Mr. Ayush Saxena, Director of STAS Chem Technologies, another exhibitor who participated in every Clean India Show edition. This platform is perfect for new releases since it caters to both domestic and international target sectors. We hope to expand into the hotel and healthcare sectors using the leads we received from the exhibition.

Additionally, the exhibition aided in consumer acquisition. Mr Ashwani Kumar, Business Head, Quick Dry Cleaning, who spoke about fruitful experience at the show, elaborated: “We have been participating from 2016 as we get the industry specific people who are into retail, laundry and dry-cleaning business. While this year we also received a lot of leads from the people who are newly entering the laundry industry. We have launched our new software ‘Quick Dry-cleaning Growth Meet App’ which is partnered with Meta and is a WhatsApp marketing solution. Hopefully we will come next year with two stalls – one for the app and another for Quick Dry Cleaning Solutions.”

The need for effective road cleaning solutions is expected to increase as India’s road infrastructure experiences previously unheard-of expansion. The founder of Spruce Up Industries, Mr. Sumedh Bhoj, provided information about the company’s most recent invention: “The recently introduced Stratus Machine is reasonably priced and was created in the USA with particular attention to the needs of Indian industries, including ports, airports, facility management firms, and the automobile industry, among others. We established connections with the appropriate parties, including government agencies, businesses, road cleaning firms, and contractors. We will participate next year as well seeing the great response.”

“We have received a great foot traffic exhibiting at Clean India Show 2024 ranging from facility management to hospitals to government and private industry such as malls, airports, and more,” said Mr. Vedant Matta, Director of Charnock Equipments, who was emphasising his many new launches. We are really happy with the event and would be delighted to take part in future editions.

“It was a really great experience for me,” said Mr Madhav Rao, Deputy Regional Manager, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), who attended the presentation. We came here to figure out how to keep our buses in good condition. We have discovered a few fresh approaches to bus cleaning. Up until now, we had been cleaning (fumigation) with aluminium phosphate, which took a long time. However, we discovered an intriguing way to do this with a spray in just one hour. Second, we discovered some intriguing ways to create ambiance, such deodorisation. The 21st edition of Clean India Show, along with its concurrent expos – Waste Technology India Expo, LaundrexIndia Expo and Autocare Expo is scheduled from 26th to 28th November 2025.
