An Expanding Worldwide Influence

The 2025 edition is set to achieve another milestone in international participation.
Carpet and Rugs Sector
This area, which will take up two halls and is referred to as the core of DOMOTEX brands, will span the whole carpet supply chain and provide a variety of carpet solutions. Prominent Chinese and international carpet brands, including Bikaner, Bulckaert, Dongsheng, Elite, Haima, Home Value, Kingtex, Paulig, Ruixin, Standard Carpets, Shree Mahesh, and Voxfloor, will offer the audience a wide range of carpets and rugs, from hand-made to machine-made, to meet all the needs of homes and businesses. “China has a renowned tradition in creativity and design, which has a great influence also in the carpet manufacturing business,” stated Mrs. Xiuli Wang, secretary general of the China Carpet Industry Association, a long-time partner and supporter of the show that operates under the China Arts and Crafts Association (CCIA). For more than two decades, DOMOTEX Asia/CHINAFLOOR has been the ideal platform for our Chinese carpet manufacturers to present their cutting-edge products to the global market. In addition, it has assisted several foreign carpet companies in taking advantage of the prospects presented by our industry. We are happy to be involved in this forum for collaboration and exchange, which helps the global carpet industry grow.

An Improved Platform with Additional Funding from the Organisers
The co-organizers of DOMOTEX Asia/CHINAFLOOR, Globus Events and Hannover Milano Fairs China (a joint venture between Deutsche Messe and Fiera Milano based in Shanghai), have agreed to form DACF Exhibitions Shanghai Ltd. as a joint venture, building on more than 20 years of fruitful cooperation. This new business will take complete responsibility for the show’s management and organisation beginning in 2025. It will also concentrate on fresh prospects for growth in the flooring sector in China and the larger APAC area. The project team is still in place, and this organisational move won’t interfere with the show’s ongoing operations.
“DACF Exhibitions Shanghai Ltd.’s founding represents a major advancement for DOMOTEX Asia/CHINAFLOOR. This new partnership strengthens our position as Asia’s leading platform for the flooring industry, enabling us to better meet the evolving needs of the market, drive innovation, and create valuable synergies across the entire value chain.” – said Sonia Wedell Castellano, global director at DOMOTEX.
“This investment is a testament to the organizers’ commitment to further strengthen DOMOTEX Asia/CHINAFLOOR as an international platform tailored to the industry trends and focused on providing new business opportunities in the region,” said Aida Cuko, international business director at Globus Events, in light of the major changes in the global flooring industry.
DACF Exhibitions Shanghai Ltd. seeks to promote upstream and downstream synergies within the flooring industry and support its continued development in China and beyond by utilising the combined resources and expertise of both parties.
