Vipul Organics Begins Production at New Sayakha Facility

Vipul Organics Limited (BSE: VIPULORG / 530627), a specialty chemicals company, has commenced commercial production at its new greenfield manufacturing facility in Sayakha, Gujarat.

The company marked the milestone with a formal Muhurat ceremony, signalling the transition of the facility from construction to commercial operations. As part of the move, Vipul Organics is consolidating its pigment manufacturing operations from its Tarapur facility in Maharashtra into the Sayakha facility as part of a broader footprint-rationalisation strategy.

New Facility to Strengthen Pigment Manufacturing Capacity

The commissioning of the Sayakha facility is expected to strengthen Vipul Organics’ pigment manufacturing capabilities and provide additional capacity for future expansion in line with market demand.

The facility has been designed with the potential to support more than 3,600 tonnes per annum (TPA) of pigment production. During its initial phase, the plant will commence operations with approximately 1,800 MT of pigment production.

The facility is located on an industrial plot measuring 24,633.11 square metres, acquired from the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) within Gujarat’s Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR).

Its strategic location along the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, close to the proposed Dedicated Freight Corridor and adjacent to Dahej Port, is expected to enhance the company’s ability to serve both domestic and international markets.

Sayakha to Serve as an Integrated Manufacturing Hub

The Sayakha site is being developed as a consolidated manufacturing base for Vipul Organics.

In addition to pigment powder production, the facility houses the membrane manufacturing operations of the company’s unit, AdiMem Technologies. The unit commenced commercial sales of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes earlier this year.

The integrated facility is expected to support the company’s expanding portfolio across pigments, dyes and membrane technologies while improving manufacturing efficiency and providing a strategically located base on India’s western coast.

Vipul Organics Eyes Further Growth

Commenting on the development, Mr. Vipul P. Shah, Managing Director, Vipul Organics Limited, said:

“The commencement of production at Sayakha is a defining milestone in Vipul Organics’ growth journey. This facility has been built to expand our pigment powder capacity, bring our membrane and solvent dyes capabilities under one roof, and give us a strategically located, port-adjacent base from which to serve our customers within the country and across the world.”

He added that as production stabilises over the coming quarters, Sayakha is expected to contribute meaningfully to the company’s capacity and revenue diversification. The company also remains focused on sustaining its growth momentum from FY 2025–26 while scaling up the new facility through FY 2026–27.

Expanding Product Portfolio and Global Footprint

The commissioning of the Sayakha facility comes as Vipul Organics continues to expand its product portfolio and international presence.

The company recently entered into an exclusive European distribution partnership with Omya Group for its pigment ranges and also commercially launched its indigenously developed membrane solutions through AdiMem Technologies.

With the Sayakha facility now operational, Vipul Organics is positioned to support its growing pigments, dyes and membrane businesses through a modern and integrated manufacturing hub.
