- Installing public EV charging stations at MCD parking lots in the Delhi area
A strategic alliance has been launched by Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL), a prominent power provider that provides electricity to about 9 million people in North Delhi. plans to build public EV charging infrastructure throughout the Municipal Corporation of Delhi’s (MCD) parking lots in collaboration with Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited (TPEVCSL). In line with Tata Power-DDL’s vision of a Green Tomorrow and India’s objective of reaching Net Zero emissions by 2070, the agreement seeks to encourage the use of electric vehicles in Delhi.
Senior representatives from both companies, including Mr. Gajanan S. Kale, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms. Kiran Gupta, Chief Customer Service Representative, were present when the Business Agreement between Tata Power-DDL and Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited (TPEVCSL) was signed.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has made its public parking spots accessible to Delhi Discoms and PSUs, including Tata Power-DDL, for Supply, Installation, Testing, and Maintenance in accordance with MoP rules as part of its drive to enhance public charging infrastructure in Delhi.
EV charging station commissioning (SITC). The parking locations have been finalised by TPEVCSL, and Tata Power-DDL has been granted ten years of use of these approved parking locations by MCD. Additionally, Tata Power-DDL and MCD are collaborating closely to find more locations for EV charging station installations.
