Hürth: In addition to traditional plastic packaging, this year’s Advanced Recycling Conference (ARC) 2024 will include urgent topics such textile recycling, PVC recycling, e-waste valorisation, and advanced recycling methods for industrial thermoplastics. Innovative technologies including dissolving, depolymerisation, pyrolysis, and gasification with Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) will be introduced in dedicated sessions. Policy matters including the EU’s recycling goals of up to 70% for packaging and 55% for plastics will also be covered.
