An early peek at the Pit Demo schedule at WrapFest 2024

A first peek at the schedule for the Pit Demo sessions of WrapFest 2024, the UK’s leading event for the car and surface detailing sector, has been released. These live demonstrations, organized by event partners, will take place in the famous pit garages at Silverstone Racing Circuit on October 3–4, 2024. They will highlight the newest methods, supplies, and goods, giving participants inspiration and educational possibilities.

Similar to the other WrapFest components, the pit demos will center around providing an extensive educational program. The Wrap Institute, a WrapFest Learnings Partner, will demonstrate their cutting-edge methods in Pits 1 and 2, including the “Zero Stretch” wrapping technology for effective and energy-saving installations. Along with learning how to “Make the Film Wrap the Car for You,” which involves utilizing the qualities of the film for a smooth application, attendees may also learn how to “Cut Like a Samurai,” or master precision cutting methods.

Pit 4, supported by PPF experts Global Hi-Tech Films, will defy expectations by showing how to install PPF flawlessly without the use of software or pre-cut templates. Visitors will see these experts’ skill as they execute a flawless finish, showcasing their versatility and accuracy.

Two enlightening demos will be hosted by Avery Dennison (Pit 6). During the “Mactac Colorwrap Demo,” attendees may explore the vivid colors and application techniques of Mactac Colorwrap films with Specialist Trainer Ash Ellison. Specialist Trainer Dan Spouse will guide a PPF workshop exploring the world of paint protection film and highlighting creative solutions from Avery Dennison. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts and witness the latest advancements in vehicle enhancement and protection.

Grafityp will showcase their skills in color films and digital printing with a number of demos in Pit 7. Participants are welcome to have a personal look at the vivid colors and remarkable adaptability of the Omega Skinz and GrafiWrap Series. The display of Grafityp’s Forged Carbon film, which lets guests see its distinctive texture and potential uses, will be a standout feature. Anyone interested in learning about the newest color trends or cutting-edge digital printing processes is welcome to attend Grafityp’s seminars.

Two well-known experts will be featured by 3M, which is located in Pit 8: Ryan Travis will show how to prepare and apply 3M Wrap Film Series 2080 and cut with 3M Knifeless Tape, and Gavin Swallow will highlight the advantages of 3M Print Wrap Film IJ280 by emphasizing its repositionability and flexibility for even the trickiest curves and recesses.

In Pit 10, Metamark will provide participants a hands-on experience with their M-PPF® range and an opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge technology that powers their vehicle protection and improvement solutions.

Industry icon Chris Edwards of CVI Group will be featured at All Print Supplies (Pit 11). He will conduct engrossing live wraps that show how to enhance creativity and get perfect results using Fedrigoni’s Ultimate Slide & Tack film, which is renowned for its conformance, flexibility, and repositionability.

Duncan MacOwan, Head of Marketing and Events at FESPA, commented on the whole schedule for this year, saying: “A real high point of WrapFest 2024 will be the Pit Demos.
