Saathi, a pioneering social enterprise, has developed a process to transform banana plant waste into biodegradable and chemical-free sanitary pads. It was founded in 2015 by graduates from Massachusetts institute of technology (MIT) and has gained recognition for its innovative approach to sustainable menstrual hygiene.
