Export-Import Trend of Protective Textiles (Protech)

SUMMARY

This analysis examines the export and import performance of Protective Textiles (Protech) over the last five years, utilizing data from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. In FY 2023-24, Protech exports reached INR 755 crore, representing a significant share within the broader Technical Textiles category, which had total exports of INR 24,586 crore. On the import side, Protech products saw imports of INR 663 crore out of the total INR 20,746 crore in Technical Textile imports.
