Wrap installers are invited to compete in the UK regional round of the renowned World Wrap Masters competition, which is scheduled for October 3–4, 2024, during WrapFest 2024 at Silverstone. This last call for entries is a special chance for experts and hobbyists to demonstrate their abilities and secure a place among the world’s top wrappers. There will be several rounds in the tournament, each one getting harder and harder in order to assess the competitors’ installation skills. A distinguished team of judges, including Kiss Lajos, Ole Solskin, and two-time World Wrap Masters champion Ivan Tenchev, will closely examine their work.
Leading companies in the sector sponsor the World Wrap Masters UK competition, lending their knowledge and resources to improve the occasion. Along with Product Partners Arlon (Printed Media) and Carlas (Colour Change and PPF), HP is the headline print partner. Fiery, a software partner, Wrapgloves for accessories, and Wrapstock, a design partner, are also expected to assist the competition.
There are several advantages to competing in the World Wrap Masters. It is an acknowledged assessment of wrapping proficiency that lets users know where they stand in the field. The competition provides hands-on exposure with the newest vinyl and PPF materials, which is an invaluable learning opportunity. In addition to testing participants’ technical proficiency with intricate surfaces, the event offers a chance for community building and introductions to prominent European wraps and specialists. The winner of the last regional leg will get a trip to Berlin to represent their country at the Global Print Expo 2025 World Wrap Masters Series Final. Head of Marketing and Events at FESPA Duncan MacOwan commented on the complete schedule for this year, saying: “Our respected panel of judges brings a depth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the competition. They have decades of combined experience and have won the World Wrap Masters before, so they have a special grasp of the difficulties and demands that rivals must contend with. Their methodical and well-refined judging methodology, which offers precise criteria and feedback all through the event, demonstrates their dedication to openness. You won’t want to miss WrapFest’s regional competition.
