In order to accommodate a robust response ITMA Asia + Citme

Launch of the Exhibition Sector Plan

December 12, 2024 The enormous response to ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025 has exceeded the show owners’ expectations, as evidenced by the 30% rise in applications thus far.

CEMATEX (the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers), the China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA), and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT TEX) are the owners of ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025.

Over 770 technology and service companies from 33 countries and regions have applied for space at the show, which is set to take place at the Singapore Expo from October 28 to October 31, 2025. Among them are several foreign producers of textile machines and suppliers of cutting-edge technologies. The exhibition owners have raised the booked hall capacity from 60,000 to 70,000 square meters due to the increasing demand.

“We appreciate the industry’s ongoing support,” stated Alex Zucchi, president of CEMATEX, speaking on behalf of the owners. We have expanded the reserved hall area to accommodate all qualified applications. This will enable more machinery manufacturers to present their most recent goods and solutions to the buyers in the area who want to use technology to save costs and stay competitive.

“Despite being held only a year after the Shanghai edition, the high level of interest in the Singapore edition underscores the necessity of further expanding into emerging markets in order to support and expand our manufacturers’ businesses.”

“Digital technology has had a significant impact on the textile industry’s development in recent years, with burgeoning new demand from regions such as South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East,” agreed Mr. Gu Ping, president of CTMA. To satisfy the demands of international exhibitors and attendees, we have added the Singapore edition between the ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024 and 2026 shows in the hopes of providing them with further advantages.

Nearly all of the Singapore Expo’s reserved display space had been taken by the time the space application deadline was on November 12. Since then, the event owners have had to increase the venue’s capacity due to the constant influx of applicants.

Plan for the Hall sector

The sector plan covers 19 product chapters of the whole textile and apparel manufacturing chain and takes up seven halls at the Singapore Expo. The displays have been grouped into product areas based on the exhibition’s distinctive selling offer, making it easier for buyers to source. According to the amount of area reserved, finishing, spinning, and knitting are the top three industries.

ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025, billed as The Leading Textile Technology Exhibition Driving Regional Growth, is scheduled for October 28–31, 2025. Beijing Textile Machinery International Exhibition Company co-organizes the show with ITMA Services. One of the exhibition’s special partners is the Japan Textile Machinery Association (JTMA).
