11 February 2025, Shanghai. Chinese consumers’ opinions have recently changed, indicating a greater desire to spend money on quality and a greater focus on product usefulness. Innovative businesses throughout the home textile supply chain have taken note of this. At the next Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition, smart bedding is expected to become a major trend in addition to the newest related goods in upholstery, towels, carpets, rugs, curtains, and many other items. In addition to specialist pavilions and a varied fringe program focused on sustainability and smart bedding that improves sleep quality, guests may explore these trends and learn about the newest developments at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre from March 11–13, 2025.
The market for smart bedding, which includes items like smart mattresses and sleep tracking technologies, is anticipated to develop significantly due to factors including changing lifestyles, increased disposable incomes, and population expansion worldwide. By 2030, the worldwide market for smart mattresses is projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.1% to reach USD 3.3 billion [1]. Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles is seeing an increase in demand for innovative bedding.
Ms. Julie Zhu, Vice General Manager of DongLong Home Textile Co Ltd, who was exhibiting at the 2024 Spring Edition, observed that “specific features, such as tactile experience, scent sensitivity, and seasonal bedding functionality, are increasingly sought after by domestic consumers.” With features like moisture control, temperature regulation, antimicrobial qualities, and sound absorption, smart bedding solutions will be heavily featured in this year’s show through a range of exhibits and fringe events, highlighting their role in improving sleep quality and the overall customer experience.
Buyers may expect a thorough sourcing experience.
