ISMC 2024: International Sustainability Mareting Competition

Students from all around the world are once again invited by the ISMC to develop campaigns that increase public awareness of environmental problems associated with textile waste and the cutting-edge technological platforms of the Clean Recycling InitiativeTM.

Canada’s Montreal:

The third annual International Sustainability Marketing Competition (ISMC), scheduled for the autumn of 2024, is being announced by Clean Recycling InitiativeTM in response to the great success of the second edition in 2023, which saw participation from approximately 300 schools and institutions across 63 nations. This year, the competition launches a brand-new prize category called the “Africa Award,” which is made possible by collaborations with Tailorlux of Germany and Corporate Career Academy (CCA) of Kenya, as well as with GreenLead.

“A crucial element of this fight is education. Students who take part will have the chance to discover important environmental problems that are caused by the textile items we use on a daily basis and investigate workable solutions. For this reason, we are holding educational sessions and mandating that students show up to at least one of them,” stated Clean Recycling InitiativeTM CEO Sae Chang.

“The competition has rapidly grown to become the largest of its kind in just two years, driven by global interest in the subject and the tremendous efforts of the organizing team, judges, and ambassadors who have graciously taken on these important roles,” Sae said.

To accommodate as many worldwide participants as possible, several information sessions with identical instructional content have been organized across three distinct time zones. On the Clean Recycling InitiativeTM website at https://cleanrecyclinginitiative.com/competition/, you can see the session schedules in detail. Concerning the Clean Recycling Initiativeā„¢

The non-profit CLEAN RECYCLING INITIATIVETM was founded thanks to gifts of the technological platform with the same name, CLEAN RECYCLING INITIATIVETM, from the thermal insulation firm HEAT-MXTM, located in Montreal, Canada. The company offers methods for recycling discarded textiles without the use of chemicals or other environmentally hazardous procedures. The solutions are intended to be used in a variety of operational categories, including as production, transportation, distribution, retail, wholesale, and other areas, for the collection and processing of textile wastes from the general public and organizations in the worldwide textile industries. There are three distinct layers to the technological platform, which are determined by the sources of textile wastes and the methods for gathering and handling them. LEVEL 1 covers home trash for which the general public complies with labeling standards. LEVEL 2 is for textile mill wastes used in production, and LEVEL 3 is for certain kinds of manufacture of intermediate raw materials. Its mission is to advance and develop the technology necessary to offer environmentally friendly recycling options for waste textiles everywhere in the globe.
