ITMA Asia + Citme Exhibition in Singapore for Next Year

At the Singapore Expo, 98% of the area is reserved.

November 13, 2024 Technology companies eager to assist the modernisation efforts of textile and apparel manufacturers from the expanding textile centres in South and Southeast Asia have responded favourably to ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025.

The show, which will take place at the Singapore Expo from October 28 to October 31, 2025, is billed as The Leading Textile Technology show Driving Regional Growth. 731 applications from 32 countries have reserved 98% of the 60,000 square meters of gross display space at the Singapore Expo by the application deadline of November 12.

An established manufacturer and exhibitor at ITMA and ITMA ASIA + CITME exhibitions, Mr Lieven Beke, Marketing and Product Manager, Picanol n.v. said, “If you look at the exhibitions that are taking place in Asia, ITMA ASIA + CITME is by far the most important exhibition. As a result, the choice to take part was decided fairly rapidly. The exhibition is an ideal platform for us to promote new innovations and technologies specifically tailored for the Asian market.”

The China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA), the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT TEX), and CEMATEX (the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers) are the owners of the joint exposition.

CEMATEX President Mr. Alex Zucchi stated: “We were pleasantly surprised by the reaction to the 2025 show. The booming textile and apparel sector in the vicinity of Singapore is modernising quickly and adopting automation and sustainable technology to boost its competitiveness in the face of a changing global business environment.

“ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025 will provide more opportunities to manufacturers in South and Southeast Asia and the Middle East,” concurred Mr. Gu Ping, president of CTMA.

Members of prominent textile machinery manufacturers from important North Asian associations, including the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), Korea Textile Machinery Association (KOTMA), and Japan Textile Machinery Association (JTMA), a special partner of the combined exhibition, have also been drawn to the show.

The largest sector in terms of the quantity of applications is finishing. Then comes knitting and spinning. Since sustainability is a top priority for textile and apparel producers, finishing remains a significant industry segment.

“We are thrilled to present our extensive range of digital dyeing and finishing solutions, designed to assist the textile industry to upgrade towards intelligent and sustainable manufacturing,” said Mr. John Wu, Marketing Director, Texpro Precision Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. We think that ITMA Asia + CITME, Singapore 2025 will be a great way to meet the growing demand from producers in major textile centres.
