ITTA MoU with Kumaraguru College of Technology

The Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) on 3rd March 2025 in Coimbatore. The MOU was signed by Shri Avinash Misar, Chairman of ITTA, and Sr. S. Raghupathy, Director, Kumaraguru College of Technology in the presence of Dr. Anup Rakshit, Executive Director, ITTA, Dr. V.Ramesh Babu, Professor & HoD, Dept of Textile Technology, Prof A. Pavedhan, Associate Dean, Textile Cluster, Kumaraguru college of Technology and Dr. M. Ezhilarasi, Principal. Kumaraguru College of Technology.

The partnership aims to enhance student engagement through practical training, research, and development while fostering closer interaction and collaboration. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) reflects both organizations’ commitment to quality education and research by jointly organizing technology and development initiatives in areas of mutual interest, including education, training, and industry outreach.

Objectives of the MoU

  • Collaboration between both will promote more effective use of their resources and provide enhanced opportunities.
  • To establish cooperation that can facilitate effective utilisation of available resources in both ends & intellectual capabilities.
  • To plan and promote Industrial visits for students that provide insights into the latest developments of Technical Textiles.
  • To support in getting guest lectures on various courses on High-performance fibres/Technical Textiles.
  • To actively engage in delivering training & internships to students in the Technical Textile Industry.
  • Launching ITTA-KCT Student chapter.
  • New product development projects at KCT using ITTA resources
