The Lubrizol Corporation has made a groundbreaking announcement regarding the availability of two Oeko-Tex® certified TPU resins tailored for use in breathable textiles across Asia. The resins, named Estane® MVT 80 NT1 and Estane MVT 90 NT1, have been rigorously examined and certified by the International Oeko-Tex Association for Class I, II, III, and IV uses, ensuring they do not contain harmful substances.
These high-quality resins are now manufactured at Lubrizol’s factory in Songjiang, Shanghai, China. Estane MVT80 NT1 and Estane MVT90 NT1 are both resins with excellent moisture vapour transmission qualities, making them ideal for constructing waterproof but breathable garments. Both resins exceeded the ASTM International test method E96 BW moisture vapour transfer value of 10,000 g/m²/day.
