July 26, 2024, New Delhi – The multi-business organization and major FMCG conglomerate, Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), has once again been recognized with a LEED certification, reaffirming its position as a global pioneer in green and sustainable construction standards. Platinum Green Building accreditation under the USGBC Existing Building – O+M Programme Version 4.0 category (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). The Group’s headquarters has been granted the accreditation, which is good for the next five years, maintaining its esteemed title of World’s Most Sustainable Green Building. The DS Group Headquarters (DSHQ), which is located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, now contains the corporate headquarters, an R&D center, and cutting-edge manufacturing facilities.
Based on an evaluation of eight criteria—water efficiency, transportation and location, indoor environmental quality, sustainable sites, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, innovation, and regional priority credits—the certification was awarded. At the DS Group headquarters has regained the top spot internationally at the time of recertification in June 2024, earning a score of 109 out of 110—an improvement from 104 from the previous edition.
