From June 8 to 14, Monforts will have their Montex®Coat coating machine on exhibit at ITMA 2023 in Milan at company stand B106 in Hall 18. The Montex®Coat provides services to a wide range of industries and allows for solvent coatings, full PVC coatings, pigment dyeing, or low application surface and low penetration treatments. This technique can also be used for screen printing, roller coating, or knife coating. As a result, it offers the greatest degree of flexibility and the capacity to swiftly move from one fabric run to the next, all while maintaining an efficient use of raw materials and energy. The majority of these devices have been integrated into some of the thousands of full Monforts Montex stentering units that have now been marketed globally. All lines are currently operational.
With its heat recovery and energy optimisation options, the Montex stenter can now achieve overall energy savings of 40% when compared to conventional stenters, maintaining its dominant position in the market in terms of robustness, long service life, and resource-efficient productivity.
As the processing of some fabrics can produce significant amounts of oil, fibre, and even wax particles, exhaust air treatment on stenter frames has presented unique challenges over the years, according to Monforts Managing Director Gunnar Meyer. The MonforClean module will be integrated directly into the stenter frame, according to Meyer, who also revealed that: “With this innovation, the waste heat from the drying process is used to pre-heat the drying air, resulting in a radical reduction in the conventional heat supply required compared to gas and thermal oil heating.”
Monforts Marketing Manager Nicole Croonenbroek said: “At ITMA 2023 in Milan, we’ll be happy to explain the range of modifications and modernisations that can be made to your line, as well as all of the benefits of our latest technologies. Compared to a new machine, upgrades are a low-cost investment that deliver clearly defined benefits. Do come and meet the team in Milan.”
