Jan. 7, 2025, Cary, NC The IDEA®25 International Conference and Exhibition, which will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Centre in Florida from April 29 to May 1, 2025, is already accepting registrations, according to a statement released today by INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry.
The two-day conference at IDEA will focus only on sustainability for the first time, acknowledging its vital role in the nonwovens sector. To promote “Nonwovens for a Healthier Planet,” the conference will bring together C-suite executives, business development specialists, sustainability managers, product developers, regulatory teams, sales, and marketing.
The exhibition element of IDEA will include new breakthroughs and solutions from top firms in the industry, replacing the regional market overviews and corporate presentations that were formerly a part of the conference program.
“At IDEA25, industry leaders will come together to exchange ideas and information that will advance the sustainability movement in the nonwovens industry,” stated Matt O’Sickey, Ph.D., Director of Education & Technical Affairs at INDA. “We are thrilled to offer a cooperative platform where environmental responsibility and innovation coexist, safeguarding the future of our industry and the health of our planet.”
At IDEA25, industry professionals will speak and participate in panel discussions on a variety of subjects, including:
- Regulations: Upcoming laws affecting sustainability initiatives in the United States, the European Union (EU), and the UN
- Innovations in Products and Processes: Purchasing eco-friendly materials using natural fibres, fiber-to-nonwoven recycling, biodegradability and compostability advancements, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs
- Bio-materials and the circular economy: ethical sourcing, sustainability advancements, and end-of-life solutions that save waste and energy use, which result in substantial financial and material savings
In the upcoming weeks, information on the conference’s presenters and abstracts will be released.
