The LYCRA Company, a global innovator in fiber and technology solutions for the apparel sector, has launched its COOLMAX® CORE fiber in the Indian market at Bharat Tex in New Delhi, held from February 14-17.
The COOLMAX® CORE fiber is a dyed filament available in over 25 shades. It enhances textile processing production efficiency by removing the fabric dyeing stage, which also lowers the possibility of effluents affecting the environment. The fiber is suited for shirting, knitwear, and formalwear, providing permanent moisture management for cooling comfort in hot conditions.
According to Alistair Williamson, The LYCRA Company’s vice president of EMEA and South Asia, this fiber was created in response to the rising demand for dyed COOLMAX® yarn in India’s shirting, knitwear, and formalwear sectors. Williamson added that the company is excited to offer this unique solution to India, allowing brands to provide a cooling experience that adapts to the wearer’s demands, even in the most difficult climates.
The COOLMAX® brand is known for its moisture management properties, which help users stay cool, dry, and comfortable.
