New showroom concept to debut during Fall 2026 NY Home Fashions Market Week
Alok Industries’ Home Textiles Division is set to introduce a new retail architecture at its Madison Avenue showroom during the Fall 2026 NY Home Fashions Market Week, scheduled for 14–17 September 2026.
Developed in collaboration with design partner Studio Heritage Living (SHL), the initiative presents a new approach to home textiles merchandising. The complete concept will be unveiled during Market Week, while the initial preview will offer retail partners and industry stakeholders an early look at Alok Industries’ approach to the future of home textiles retail.
New Retail Approach for Home Textiles
The new retail architecture is designed to support a more consumer-centric retail experience while building on Alok Industries’ established focus on innovation.
The initiative brings together the design and merchandising expertise of Studio Heritage Living (SHL) across product strategy, packaging and retail architecture.
Biji Chacko, COO of Alok Industries, said:
“We’ve always led with innovation on the fibre side. This year, we’re taking the next step with a new retail architecture that reimagines how consumers experience our home textiles portfolio. This new retail vision reflects Alok Industries’ commitment to meaningful retail innovation, brought to life with the design expertise of Studio Heritage Living (SHL). We are excited to unveil the complete concept at Market Week.”
Focus on Retail Experiences
Avinash Malani, Divisional Head, added:
“This marks an important milestone in our journey to evolve beyond product manufacturing and create stronger retail experiences for our partners. We’re looking forward to showcasing this new approach at Market Week and sharing more about what it means for the future of home textiles.”
The collaboration with SHL extends across product strategy, packaging, merchandising and retail architecture, with the design approach intended to cover both bedding and bath collections.
Studio Heritage Living Collaboration
Disha Shah, founder of Studio Heritage Living, said:
“Over the last 25 years, I’ve worked across India’s and the world’s textile supply chains, helping global brands bridge the gap between manufacturing excellence and consumer relevance. This collaboration reflects a shared vision of creating retail experiences that are built around consumers, and we’re excited to unveil the complete concept together at Market Week.”
She added:
“What makes working with Alok Industries particularly exciting is the company’s willingness to challenge conventional retail thinking and invest in a more integrated consumer experience. Alok recognized the opportunity to bring product development, packaging, merchandising, and consumer behavior together into one cohesive retail architecture, while ensuring the same design philosophy extends seamlessly across both the bedding and bath collections.
What stands out is that this initiative is not simply about creating more impactful displays. It reflects Alok Industries’ commitment to help retailers tell clearer product stories, simplify purchase decisions, and create stronger commercial outcomes. This collaboration is a great example of how Alok’s forward-looking approach to product and retail strategy can create meaningful business impact at scale.”
