SUMMARY
This analysis reviews the export and import performance of Construction Textiles (Buildtech) over the past four years, based on data from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. In FY 2026-27 (up to May’26), Buildtech exports stood at INR 268 crores, contributing a notable share to the overall Technical Textiles exports, which totalled INR 5051 crores. On the import side, Buildtech imports were valued at INR 380 crores, out of the total Technical Textile imports of INR 4859 crores.
The analysis highlights the leading exported and imported Construction Textile (Buildtech) products, along with key destination and sourcing countries, providing a strategic overview of the sector’s global trade position and market dynamics.
