The Indian hygiene brand plans to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen distribution across India and grow its product portfolio beyond menstrual hygiene.
Niine, the Indian hygiene brand launched in 2018, has announced a five-year growth plan targeting revenue of more than ₹1,000 crore by FY30. The roadmap focuses on manufacturing expansion, stronger brand building, wider distribution and an expanded product portfolio to address changing consumer needs across India.
Gurugram, October 12, 2026: Niine aims to extend its presence beyond menstrual hygiene and baby care to serve consumers across different life stages. The company plans to strengthen its reach through general trade, modern trade and e-commerce, while expanding its distribution network into additional states and markets.
Niine Outlines Five-Year Growth Plan
Niine’s growth strategy includes the following targets and investments:
- Revenue target: Achieve more than ₹1,000 crore in revenue by FY30.
- Manufacturing investment: Invested more than ₹100 crore in expanding capacity at its Gorakhpur manufacturing facility, with further investment planned.
- Distribution expansion: Extend general trade coverage to all states, from its current presence in more than 18 states.
- Omnichannel growth: Expand across general trade, modern trade and e-commerce.
- Market reach: Strengthen access to consumers in metropolitan areas and Tier 2 markets through strategic partnerships and a broader hygiene portfolio.
The plan builds on the company’s existing manufacturing operations and distribution network as it prepares for its next phase of growth.
Niine Records 10-Fold Revenue Growth
Niine reported revenue of ₹32.46 crore in FY19, its first full year of sales after launching in May 2018. By FY26, revenue had increased to ₹325 crore, representing approximately 10-fold growth.
The company also became EBITDA-positive in FY26. It has set a target EBITDA margin of 15% by FY30 as part of its longer-term financial roadmap.
Niine has invested more than ₹100 crore in its Gorakhpur manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh. The facility falls under the state’s super mega industrial category and has created more than 1,000 direct jobs.
These investments support the company’s manufacturing capacity and its ambition to expand its presence across India. Niine currently operates in more than 18 states and positions itself as a home-grown, Made in India hygiene brand.
Product Innovation and Menstrual Hygiene Awareness
Niine has introduced product and packaging initiatives aimed at addressing consumer needs. These include resealable packs designed to help keep sanitary pads hygienic while travelling and biodegradable disposal bags for discreet disposal.
The company has also supported access to menstrual hygiene products through sanitary napkin vending machine initiatives at educational institutions and public facilities. These efforts reflect its focus on product availability and menstrual hygiene awareness.
Campaigns such as #LetsTalkPeriods and the brand’s partnership with Rajasthan Royals have helped bring conversations about menstruation into homes, classrooms and cricket stadiums. The initiatives have also encouraged men to participate in menstrual hygiene awareness as active allies.
The Niine Movement and Run4Niine have further built community engagement around the cause.
In May 2026, Niine marked Menstrual Hygiene Day with a digital-first film series highlighting the idea that no two periods are alike. The series showcased the brand’s product range and its focus on different consumer needs.
Brand Plans to Address Hygiene Needs Across Life Stages
Niine’s next phase of growth will build on its expansion from sanitary napkins into baby care. The company plans to develop its portfolio around changing hygiene requirements and consumer needs at different stages of life.
Commenting on the roadmap, Amar Tulsiyan, Founder of Niine, said, “We learnt that the categories people find hardest to discuss are often the ones most in need of a better product. That’s why we started a conversation nobody wanted to have with our ‘Let’s Talk Periods’ campaign. Niine will continue to step into hygiene spaces that are not explored enough. Our ₹1,000 crore ambition reflects the scale of the opportunity ahead, and we intend to achieve it by reaching many more Indian homes with a portfolio that caters to every stage of life.”
The company’s five-year plan combines revenue growth with manufacturing expansion, wider distribution and portfolio development. Its progress towards the FY30 target will depend on its ability to expand its market presence and respond to evolving consumer needs across India’s hygiene sector.
