Omprakash Mantry Takes Charge as ITAMMA President for 2026–27

The Indian Textile Accessories and Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (ITAMMA) has appointed Mr. Omprakash Mantry, Director of Century Inks Pvt. Ltd., as President for 2026–27. With 35 years of experience in manufacturing and industrial marking solutions, Mantry brings extensive expertise in marking instruments, specialty inks and industrial applications to his new leadership role.

A first-generation entrepreneur, Mantry has built his career around manufacturing, product development and long-term business relationships. Under his leadership and industry expertise, Century Markers has recorded consistent growth in revenue and technological development over the past decade.

Three Decades of Product Development

Century Inks has invested continuously in research and development for more than three decades, developing a wide portfolio of cost-effective marking instruments and devices for diverse industrial applications.

The company’s product range includes pump-type textile markers, paint markers, high-temperature chalks and laundry markers, along with its widely recognised Century’s Everon Pen. These products are designed to address specialised marking requirements across textile and other industrial processes.

Mantry’s focus on innovation has supported the company’s efforts to expand its product portfolio while responding to evolving industrial requirements.

Strong Focus on Business Relationships

A key aspect of Mantry’s business philosophy has been the emphasis on ethics, loyalty and long-term relationships. Century Markers has established strong business partnerships with distributors across India as well as international markets, with several relationships extending over many years.

His experience in manufacturing and distribution has also given him a broad understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing industrial businesses in an increasingly technology-driven market.

Expanding Business Interests

In addition to Century Inks, Mantry owns and manages 3S Corporation, a Government-recognised Star Export House involved in the export and distribution of specialty pharmaceutical products.

His entrepreneurial activities therefore extend beyond industrial marking solutions, reflecting his broader experience in manufacturing, exports and business management.

Industry and Community Engagement

Mantry has also been actively involved in industry and community organisations. He currently serves as Chairman of Bonanza Industrial Estate Co-operative Society, Kandivali, where he is overseeing ongoing renovation activities.

He is a Committee Member of the All India Printing Ink Manufacturers Association and has previously served as a Committee Member of the Plastic Export Promotion Council.

Leadership at ITAMMA

As President of ITAMMA for 2026–27, Mantry assumes leadership at a time when the textile engineering and machinery sector is witnessing rapid technological transformation. Digitalisation, automation, sustainability and advanced manufacturing are increasingly influencing the development of textile machinery, accessories and allied technologies.

His 35 years of manufacturing experience and background in industrial product development are expected to contribute to ITAMMA’s efforts to strengthen industry collaboration, encourage technological advancement and address the evolving requirements of textile manufacturers and engineering companies.

Mantry’s appointment marks the beginning of a new leadership term for ITAMMA, with his experience in manufacturing, innovation and industry associations providing a strong foundation for the association’s activities during 2026–27.
