Print Sangam 2027 to Bring Three Major Print Industry Platforms to Bengaluru

Digital Print Asia, NAEP & GPEA Awards and Bharat Print Expo will converge at BIEC from 12–15 May 2027, bringing together industry knowledge, print excellence and business opportunities.

The Indian printing and packaging industry is set to witness a major industry gathering as Print Sangam brings together three established platforms—Digital Print Asia, the National Awards for Excellence in Printing (NAEP) and Global Print Excellence Awards (GPEA), and Bharat Print Expo. The four-day event will take place at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, from 12 to 15 May 2027.

The initiative is a collaboration between the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) and ReEnvision Events Private Limited. Under the Print Sangam banner, the three platforms will combine knowledge-sharing, industry recognition and exhibition opportunities into an integrated experience for printing and packaging professionals.

The initiative comes as printing businesses navigate changing customer expectations, technological developments and increasing pressure to improve operational efficiency. By bringing together business discussions, technological advancements and industry recognition, Print Sangam aims to connect professional knowledge with practical solutions and commercial opportunities.

Digital Print Asia 2027 to Focus on Business Transformation

The programme will begin on 12 May 2027 with Digital Print Asia 2027, a knowledge-driven summit centred on the theme “Mind Your Business… not just your Print!”

The theme highlights the importance of business management alongside investments in printing machinery and production technologies. As automation, digital workflows and emerging technologies reshape printing operations, businesses must also evaluate their investment decisions, operational processes, workforce capabilities and growth strategies.

Digital Print Asia will encourage printing entrepreneurs, technology specialists, industry professionals and business leaders to look beyond equipment specifications and examine the broader factors influencing business performance.

The summit aims to facilitate discussions on how printing businesses can adapt to industry changes, improve decision-making and identify opportunities for sustainable commercial growth.

NAEP and GPEA Awards to Recognise Printing Excellence

On 13 May 2027, attention will turn to the National Awards for Excellence in Printing (NAEP) and Global Print Excellence Awards (GPEA).

The awards recognise craftsmanship, technical expertise, creativity and innovation across the printing and packaging industry. NAEP provides a platform for recognising quality and professional capabilities within India’s printing community, while GPEA acknowledges outstanding work demonstrating innovation, creativity and production excellence in print and packaging.

Together, the awards form the recognition component of Print Sangam, highlighting the contribution of printing organisations and professionals to industry development.

The awards gathering is also expected to facilitate interaction among printers, converters, brand owners, technology providers and industry leaders committed to advancing print quality and production standards.

Bharat Print Expo 2027 to Showcase Printing and Packaging Technologies

Bharat Print Expo 2027 will take place from 13 to 15 May 2027 at BIEC, Bengaluru, completing the Print Sangam programme.

Positioned as South India’s Largest Printing Exhibition, Bharat Print Expo will showcase technologies, equipment and solutions for the printing and package converting industries.

The exhibition will cover a broad range of segments, including commercial and offset printing, digital printing, labels, flexible packaging, corrugation, textile printing, soft signage, print finishing and allied technologies.

Printers and converters will have opportunities to examine machinery, compare solutions, explore new applications and interact directly with equipment manufacturers and technology suppliers.

Brand owners, print buyers and packaging professionals will also be able to explore production capabilities and technologies relevant to product development, packaging requirements and future business needs.

In addition to technology demonstrations, the exhibition aims to facilitate business discussions, supplier discovery, professional networking and opportunities for investment and diversification.

Print Sangam Connects Knowledge, Recognition and Business Opportunities

The three platforms will address different but complementary aspects of the printing industry’s development.

Digital Print Asia will focus on business strategy and industry knowledge, while NAEP and GPEA will recognise achievements in print quality, creativity and innovation. Bharat Print Expo will provide an exhibition platform for exploring technologies, equipment and commercial opportunities.

Together, these platforms will connect learning, professional recognition and technological advancement within a single industry gathering.

Bengaluru will host the initiative, with the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre serving as the common venue for all three platforms from 12 to 15 May 2027.

By bringing the events together, Print Sangam 2027 aims to create a shared platform for printing and packaging professionals to exchange knowledge, recognise industry achievements and explore opportunities for business development.
