Mr. Rajeswaran Sundarraj, Managing Director of Naren Group of Companies, has been appointed Hon’ Treasurer of the Indian Textile Accessories & Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (ITAMMA) for 2026/27. With more than three decades of experience in textile engineering and industrial automation, Sundarraj brings extensive technical, entrepreneurial and business expertise to the association’s leadership team.

A first-generation entrepreneur, Sundarraj has built the Naren Group into a recognised name in textile machinery spare parts, industrial electronic components, machine sensors and advanced automation solutions. Under his leadership, the Group has maintained sustained growth by providing technologically advanced, high-quality and cost-effective solutions to customers in India and international markets.

His approach to business has been driven by continuous innovation, product development and strong customer relationships. Through consistent investment in research and development, Sundarraj has helped develop reliable alternatives to globally sourced industrial components while maintaining quality and competitive pricing.

His strategic focus has also enabled the Naren Group to expand its market presence and strengthen its position as a solution provider for the textile and manufacturing industries.

In addition to his responsibilities at Naren Group, Sundarraj serves as Chief Marketing Officer of Ariyai Tech Pvt. Ltd. In this role, he works on strengthening customer relationships and accelerating business growth while contributing to technology-driven transformation.

As part of a nine-member executive team with more than 130 years of combined experience, he focuses on connecting business strategy with emerging technologies, including cloud architecture, digital transformation, AI and automation. His work also involves fostering collaboration between traditional manufacturing industries and next-generation digital technology providers.

Sundarraj has been an active member of the ITAMMA Managing Committee for several years and has played a proactive role in the association’s activities. His appointment as Hon’ Treasurer for 2026/27 further strengthens ITAMMA’s leadership with expertise spanning textile engineering, industrial components, automation and technology-driven business development.

Through his new role, Sundarraj is expected to contribute to ITAMMA’s efforts to strengthen the textile engineering ecosystem, encourage technological innovation and support the industry’s transition towards more advanced and digitally enabled manufacturing solutions.
