TrusTrace Launches Platform for Supply Chain Intelligence

TrusTrace, a global provider of supply chain traceability and compliance solutions, has announced the launch of a new platform designed to help global brands convert supply chain data into actionable insights and automate compliance-related operations.

The platform builds on TrusTrace’s existing traceability and compliance foundation. It gives brands direct access to supply chain data for analysis and decision-making while automating multi-step programmes, including assessments, evidence collection, follow-ups and corrective actions.

At its foundation is TrusTrace’s real-time, lot-level forward traceability combined with AI-powered backward chain-of-custody data across materials and sourcing models. The company said this provides the data foundation required to generate supply chain intelligence.

“Every regulation ultimately asks the same question: can you prove it? But proving compliance starts much earlier, with understanding your supply chain, knowing where the gaps are and acting before they become problems,” said Shameek Ghosh, CEO and Co-Founder of TrusTrace.

Supply Chain Intelligence at the Core

The new platform is being rolled out in phases starting this month and has been developed and validated over the past year with a number of leading global brands.

Its initial focus is Supply Chain Intelligence, allowing brands to use natural language to ask questions across suppliers, facilities, products, materials and supply chain relationships. The system is designed to identify gaps and patterns and generate insights and reports in seconds.

Future phases will add regulatory intelligence and enterprise intelligence. These capabilities are intended to connect external regulatory requirements and a brand’s own policies and standards with its supply chain data, helping brands understand applicable requirements, identify gaps and take action before they become compliance failures.

Automated Supplier Compliance Operations

Alongside Supply Chain Intelligence, TrusTrace is introducing a program builder and orchestrator designed to automate workflows associated with Supplier Compliance, the company’s existing solution for managing supplier requirements.

The automation capabilities allow brands to run processes such as vendor onboarding, continuous supplier monitoring, assessments, evidence requests, follow-ups and corrective actions. The system is designed to reduce repetitive manual work by running these processes using the brand’s own supply chain data.

Supply Chain Intelligence forms one of three connected solution areas within the TrusTrace platform. Supplier Compliance manages whether suppliers meet a brand’s requirements, while Supply Chain Intelligence helps brands understand their supply chains, identify areas requiring attention and support decision-making. Product Compliance determines whether specific products meet applicable requirements and provides evidence to support compliance.

The latest launch introduces Supply Chain Intelligence together with automation capabilities connecting these three solution areas.

“We have spent years helping brands build trusted supply chain data. Now we are making that data work harder, turning it into intelligence, decisions, and action,” said Ghosh. “The goal is to help brands scale increasingly complex compliance programs without scaling their teams at the same rate, so they can spend more time on the decisions that matter.”

Four Pillars of the Platform

TrusTrace said the new platform is built around four key pillars.

One unified data foundation: Suppliers can submit data once, in any format or language. TrusTrace extracts, validates and links the information into a unified data foundation. Data and evidence can then be reused across different use cases, reducing duplicate requests and supplier fatigue.

Supply Chain Intelligence: Brands can ask questions about suppliers, facilities, products, materials and supply chain relationships and receive live insights and reports based on their TrusTrace data. Regulatory, enterprise and risk intelligence are planned as the platform evolves.

Automated operations: The program builder and orchestrator enable brands to create and operate multi-step workflows, including vendor onboarding and continuous supplier monitoring. These workflows can automate assessments, evidence requests, follow-ups and corrective actions across supplier networks.

One connected compliance platform: TrusTrace brings supplier requirements, regulatory obligations and product compliance together on a single platform powered by the same supply chain data and evidence foundation. Information can be reused across different requirements and programmes, reducing duplication for brands and suppliers.

AI Across Supply Chain Data and Operations

AI is integrated throughout the platform, including data extraction and validation, natural-language access to supply chain information and automation of multi-step programmes.

The company said the approach is intended to reduce manual work for both brands and suppliers while enabling teams to act on supply chain insights supported by their own data.

According to TrusTrace, a new programme can go live in as little as three days, with the first supplier data request sent during the first week.

The company’s data foundation currently spans more than 120,000 suppliers across more than 80 countries.

The new platform is designed for brands ranging from global enterprises to mid-sized companies developing compliance programmes with lean teams. TrusTrace said additional intelligence and automation capabilities will be introduced as the platform rollout continues.
