Order Book and Business Expansion Support Growth
Mr. Anil Kumar Puttan, Chairman & MD, Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited
Commenting on the results, Anil Kumar Puttan, Chairman and Managing Director of Unimech Aerospace & Manufacturing Ltd., said the company continued to see encouraging progress across its core business areas.
He highlighted H1 FY27 revenue growth of 85%, supported by strong demand, execution and early returns from strategic growth initiatives. He also pointed to the company’s consolidated order book of ₹8,546 million as a strong foundation for future growth.
Puttan said long-term supply agreements and award programmes with major global aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are helping Unimech move beyond short-cycle tooling. The company is expanding into recurring, high-volume manufacturing of flying parts.
Semiconductor and Aerospace Opportunities
In the semiconductor segment, Unimech has developed a dedicated 20-month development pipeline with a major global OEM. The programme generated commercial revenue during H1 FY27, with the company expecting a significant increase in H2.
Puttan also said parts prove-out activities are progressing. Serial production is expected to scale over the coming quarters, creating a multi-year revenue opportunity.
Infrastructure Expansion and Global Presence
Unimech is also investing in infrastructure to support future demand. The company has started installing an automated special-process cell to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities.
In addition, it is expanding its presence in the Middle East through a joint venture in Saudi Arabia. These initiatives aim to strengthen its production capacity, technical capabilities and global reach.
Puttan said the company will continue to focus on disciplined execution, prudent capital allocation and sustainable, high-margin growth.
