NYAI Launches Agentic AI Platform for Legal and Compliance

NYAI AI Studio enables law firms and enterprises to build, deploy and govern AI agents and workflows on legal-data infrastructure.

Legal and compliance AI company NYAI has launched NYAI AI Studio, an agentic AI infrastructure platform designed for law firms and the legal and compliance functions of enterprises.

The company describes the platform as India’s first agentic AI infrastructure platform purpose-built for legal and compliance.

NYAI AI Studio is designed to support AI agents that can execute legal and compliance workflows from intake to delivery. Organisations can use their own data, controls and preferred AI models within the platform.

Moving From AI Applications to Infrastructure

Generative AI adoption has created new governance challenges for legal and compliance teams.

Sensitive information can be distributed across multiple AI applications, making it harder for organisations to track what information is processed, which models are used, who accesses the data and the associated costs.

NYAI AI Studio is designed to operate as an infrastructure layer beneath AI applications.

The platform is model-agnostic and integrates with Claude, GPT, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini. According to NYAI, organisational data remains within the NYAI environment while inference can run through the AI ecosystem selected by the organisation.

This allows teams to select different AI models for different tasks rather than relying on a single model across all workflows.

Building Organisation-Specific AI Agents

The platform combines ready-to-deploy agents with tools that allow legal and compliance professionals to build their own AI workflows.

Organisations can incorporate their existing:

  • Playbooks
  • Precedents
  • Clause libraries
  • Escalation protocols
  • Institutional knowledge
  • Matter-level information

NYAI AI Studio also includes a knowledge graph and organisational memory designed to retain matter-level and institutional context.

This enables organisations to build workflows around their own processes rather than adapting their practices to fixed software functionality.

Multi-Agent Workflows for Legal Processes

The platform supports individual legal tasks as well as multi-agent workflows.

These tasks include research, drafting, summarisation, chronologies and redlining.

For example, in a mergers and acquisitions due diligence process, multiple specialised agents can classify documents, extract metadata, analyse risks and combine their findings into a matter-level report.

The architecture can also be used for:

  • Land and title due diligence
  • Statutory compliance
  • Regulatory monitoring
  • Audits
  • Compliance workflows
  • Other legal and regulatory processes

Five Ways to Deploy AI

NYAI AI Studio provides five broad approaches to using AI within an organisation.

Legal Tools

The platform provides access to research, drafting, summaries, chronologies, redlining, contract lifecycle management and custom agent calls.

Compliance Management

Teams can use the platform for obligation identification, penalty computation, obligation monitoring, compliance fulfilment, AI-based audits and evidence tracking.

Custom Agents

Organisations can build their own agents, workflows, tools and skills and connect them with external generative AI models.

Off-the-Shelf Solutions

Ready-made solutions are available for areas including intake, due diligence and DPDP consent management.

Custom AI Applications

Organisations can also build and host their own interfaces and applications on the platform using its agents, tools and workflows.

Platform Capabilities

NYAI AI Studio includes capabilities covering:

  • AI agents and multi-agent orchestration
  • Reusable tools and skills
  • Custom workflows and scheduling
  • Knowledge graph and organisational memory
  • Model-agnostic AI orchestration
  • API gateway and MCP server
  • Governance and evaluation
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Single sign-on (SSO)
  • Audit logs
  • Data privacy and security controls
  • Legal data corpus alongside organisational data

Integrations With Existing Work Environments

NYAI AI Studio has more than 100 integrations, according to the company.

These include iManage, SAP, DocuSign, Salesforce, leading storage platforms, email and WhatsApp.

The integrations are designed to allow legal and compliance teams to use AI-powered workflows within the environments they already use.

Vikrant Labde, Co-founder, NYAI, said:

“Our objective is not to replace the existing legal-technology stack with another collection of point solutions. It is to provide the infrastructure on which organisations build their own AI-native legal and compliance operations.”

Three Deployment Models

NYAI AI Studio is available through three deployment models:

  1. Software as a Service (SaaS)
  2. Isolated deployment on hyperscalers
  3. Air-gapped, on-premise deployment

The company says each model includes role-based access controls, single sign-on, model evaluation and audit trails.

These options are intended to address different data residency, security and governance requirements.

Focus on Organisation-Specific AI

Advocate Dr. Chinmay S. Bhosale, Co-founder, NYAI, said:

“Legal and compliance teams cannot treat AI as merely another productivity application. Their work turns on sensitive client information, proprietary institutional knowledge, intricate processes and decisions that demand complete traceability.

Above all, one size does not fit all in legal and compliance. Every firm has its own playbooks, every enterprise its own regulatory footprint, and every matter its own contours. A generic AI tool cannot do justice to that diversity. NYAI AI Studio was, therefore, the need of the hour: a platform on which each organisation builds precisely the agents and workflows its practice demands.”

Expansion Beyond India

NYAI AI Studio is available in India with immediate effect.

Following the launch, NYAI plans to expand the platform into the Middle East, United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific in the coming quarter.

The company is positioning the platform as an infrastructure layer for organisations seeking to develop AI-enabled legal and compliance operations while retaining control over their data, workflows and governance.
